With just 10 days to get it done, Mrs. Gerry's relied on Delkor to convert its hand pack line to a fully automated line start to finish.

"We needed to have this project up and running in 10 days. We wanted somebody to handle it from start to finish, somebody we could trust to get it done," states Stuart Ness, Director of IT and Project Management at Mrs. Gerry's. "Our private equity partners said this was one of the smoothest installs we've ever went through. We went from our hand pack line to a fully automated line in about a week," he continues.

With such a tall order, the deli giant knew they needed to find a true automation partner to take the reins. Not only was Delkor's Installation team able to meet the 10-day deadline, the new line was designed to fully optimize space, flexibility, and efficiency.

"The sheer volume that we put through that system is impressive... 25 million pounds annually with 24 people across three shifts," proclaims Director of Operations, Evan Raulie. 

But the real selling point? "The ability to change that line over in a fairly rapid amount of time is key to the success of the line," says Raulie.
