SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for enhancing the efficiency, scalability, and quality of the machine build and checkout process through process optimization, technical support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Improve the efficiency and scalability of manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly processes (including training), tools, and materials. Equally important is the requirement of conferring with equipment vendors and soliciting observations from technicians.
• Delkor’s manufacturing environment doubles as an equipment showroom. As such, this role has the goal of supporting and creating a world-class manufacturing environment on the production floor, with efficiency, organization, and cleanliness as a top priority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Four-year degree in an engineering field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Prior experience in a high-production environment is required.

PAY RANGE

• The annual salary range is $71,500 - $78,000. SUMMARY

The Applications Engineer works with sales, engineering, scheduling, operations, procurement, and accounting to configure and quote Delkor packaging solutions. They lead quoting projects consisting of system costing reports, system layout drawings and system proposals and present quoted projects both internally to Delkor management and externally to Delkor customers and sales managers. The Applications Engineer is the subject matter expert on all company commercial product lines.  

The Applications Engineer job description is intended to point out major duties and authorities within the position, but it is not limited to these items.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lead quoting projects:
  • System costing reports.
    • Responsible for preparing detailed and accurate project hard metal data using Microsoft Dynamics Navision and the project labor data using Delkor SQL Reports. This information is used to dictate lead-time, profit margins, and customer sell prices.
  • System layout drawings.
    • Responsible for preparing detailed and accurate project layout drawings. The layout shows the system dimensions, machine utility requirements, and critical system callout such as utility locations and elevations.
  • System proposals.
    • Responsible for preparing a detailed and accurate project proposal. The proposal includes customer information, machine sell prices, project scope details, project lead-time, conditions of sale, terms and conditions.
  • Present quoted projects and product positioning to the Quote Review Committee on a daily basis.
  • Maintain expert level of knowledge regarding all Delkor product lines.
  • Financial responsibility
    • Develop the financial data for all assigned Delkor projects and how it dictates performance of the project.
    • Able to thoroughly understand and communicate the financial impacts of any Delkor business decision.
  • Perform other tasks or duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging, or equivalent preferred; or two-year technical degree plus 3+ years of job experience in a similar role with demonstrated effective technical skills.
• 3-5 years of experience in Capital Equipment and/or Industrial Automation Manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a “make-to-order” or “engineer-to-order” environment preferred.

SUMMARY

Delkor is currently looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Specialist works collaboratively with Production, Procurement, and the Advanced Machining Center to provide an ongoing inventory of parts necessary to fill customer machine orders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Organize and prioritize tasks requiring daily completion.
  • Pick parts according to a BOM for a packaging system.
  • Preform cycle counts when requested.
  • Keep the stockroom clean and orderly.

• Expedite completion of the Shortage Report. Monitor the report for parts that are in stock and available for delivery to the assembly floor.
• Post parts that are checked out in the system with accuracy.
• Research parts discrepancies and correct inventory as instructed.
• Work on inventory returns.
  • Process returns from the floor after a machine has shipped.
  • Return inventory from machine production.
• Work with the entire Assembly floor team and with Inventory Control co-workers to ensure that the entire assembly floor area and stockroom remain well organized and free of clutter.

SUMMARY

Delkor is currently looking for a Production Scheduler to join our team. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to identify and mitigate risk in the planning of manufacturing project schedules. Coordination with project management, engineering, purchasing, operations, quality, and sales is required to develop manufacturing timelines for all new orders to maintain workload balance and achievable manufacturing schedules. The Production Planning & Scheduling Specialist steers all projects through the organization by communicating priorities to each department as well as by adjusting and rescheduling projects when necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Creates and enters schedules into ERP/MRP system. While maximizing Delkor’s operations efficiency (Engineering through Checkout), utilizes current schedule to manage overall production flow and propose changes as needed
• Works with each department to help anticipate, identify, and address potential deviations from timeline
• Monitors overall schedule progress to ensure milestones are being met. If dates or key milestones are missed, collaborates with Project Management to determine new plan of action
• Leads production scheduling meetings with the Operations team to discuss shortages, upcoming capacity issues, and previous week’s schedule attainment.
• Estimates lead times for Applications Engineering and Sales for custom machine and expedite requests
• Tracks KPIs such as milestone on-time delivery, complete project on-time delivery, hours planned vs. actual required by functional groups within a +/- 2% variance target, and schedule attainment
• Makes recommendations and participates in process improvement activities to help improve operational efficiencies.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

SALARY RANGE

SUMMARY

Delkor is currently looking for an Office Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Office Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the various departments and members of the senior leadership team.  They must be capable of working well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside vendors, and customers.  This individual is responsible for performing administrative tasks to ensure our company’s workflow runs smoothly.  A strong aptitude for details, the ability to work in a time sensitive environment, and unwavering professionalism are required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• General Administrative Duties:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, vendor, customers and greet them upon arrival.
  • Maintain office common areas, including lobby’s, coffee stations and conference rooms.
  • Coordinate conference room setups, catering, and corporate events as needed.
  • Create calendar invites for customer and visitor meetings.
  • Coordinate temporary staffing needs.
  • Distribute daily mail and newspapers.
  • Review and post content to company intranet.
  • Manage general office supplies and visitor supplies.
  • Clean, stock and distribute safety glasses.
  • Administer customer regulatory sites.
  • Assist with special projects upon request.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven work experience as an Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of office procedures best practices.
• Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive material.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 Products including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.
