More About the Trayfecta^TM Series

The new! Delkor Trayfecta^TM Series derives its name from its ability to form all three of the common end-of-line package forms: sidewall trays, corrugated cases and paperboard cartons. Trayfecta cost-effectively meets the needs of non-food operations where washdowns are not required. The equipment is fabricated of powder-coated steel and incorporates the versatility and the robust construction for which Delkor equipment is known.

Tray and carton forming is done in a unique spring-loaded forming cavity that prevents product jamming for maximum uptime. This innovative feature, plus Delkor's smooth belt-driven operation and the ready availability of replacement parts, contributes to the system's high reliability.

The Trayfecta features robust Rockwell Automation control circuitry (including a self-diagnostic function) accessed through a touch-screen HMI control panel. Modular control architecture enables integration of ancillary devices, such as glue dispensing units. Menu-driven selection of three preset operating speeds and glue dispensing patterns helps keep changeover time to approximately 15-20 minutes. When optional Delkor Systems quick-insert cavities are used, changeover times are even less.

Trayfecta equipment operates at throughput speeds of up to 65 cycles per minute. Fifteen Trayfecta models are available that feature one, two or three forming heads and accommodate various blank sizes ranging from 48 inches wide x 30 inches long (Model 1500 Series) to 36 inches wide by 30 inches long (Model 1200 Series).
