Mechanical (MTF Series) Tray and Carton Formers

Mechanical Tray and Carton Former

The Delkor tray and carton former has been an industry staple for many years. Offering three different size machines, the Delkor former can handle materials in chipboard, SBS, or corrugate in either a glue or lock style base. The speed of your operation along with the blank size necessary to form will dictate which model is best suited for your application. This extreme flexibility allows us to produce specialty trays and cartons as well. Some of the many features of the Delkor MTF series formers include;

• Standard stainless steel construction
• AB Micrologix controls and AB Panelview HMI for user friendly operation
• Lock and glue style base can be produced on the same machine
• Speeds up to 150 trays / cartons per minute in a 1up, 2up, or 3up arrangement
• Unique blank shuttle for precise adhesive placement
• Ability to run chipboard and corrugate on the same machine
• Mechanical drive via timing belt and counterbalance provides a smooth, quiet operation

Known as the only tray and carton formers to pass the nickel test (nickel remains on edge while machine forms at production speed), Delkor has earned its place as having the most rugged machines on the market. The Delkor formers are designed to produce trays and cartons day in and day out, year in and year out. The Nickle Test
